Bob, This is really awesome news! As I recall being in one of the first conferences with you when you were taking over and helping out Peter Fields. You began by giving value right away and helping other people. Then as a CAMP student, MAP participant and on to WEST!
You have always taken the high road and moved based on your principles and your primary focus which is o help others and deliver value. I am so glad to see you moving on to this Next Level. Congratulations! It couldn't be happening to a nicer guy.

I never really was one for getting on the "guru bandwagon". I just think if we learn what works we should share it with others and... if we are constantly promoting other peoples' stuff, that usually means we are not learning and implementing our own.

Congratulations, Bob! I was introduced to your work on the recent John Milton Fogg call you did. I have been slowly absorbing some of your insights on how to build traffic, etc., for an online business. Learning from you, though, is like trying to take a sip of water from a firehose!

It's good to see you succeed. What I like most about your approach is that you are all about creating real value for your students -- not just about selling the latest "program" or "launch." Very refreshing!

Hello there Bob!

A similar thing happened to me today but without the snow! I do a couple of days a week in a friend's web building business and he arranged to give me a ride in. Anyway he was unable to make it today so I have the day to plan and prepare...brilliant! This has evoked an interesting subject, what I mean is that everyone should ask themselves the question, if I had the day for myself, what would I do with my time? Would you be empowered to do what you need to for your own success or would you spend the day being distracted and end up with nothing to show for your time? Leadership has to be about self discipline and not straying from your path to becoming more so that you can have more to share with others. Have a fulfilling and productive day!

When I read about how you lived life for a long time and realized that you had really checked out of life (the past), did you consider it a good or bad thing? I have been listening to some recordings of another talk you gave that talked about when you were seeking your core identity you got rid of a lot of people and things that used to weigh you down. You came back at the right time to prove how you had changed for the better, and now would leave your old life behind going out in honor instead of as "dead" in people's minds. I am looking back at my life and see all the years I have "checked out" as well. What testimony did I leave behind? What legacy am I building now? These thoughts and questions haunt me. I need more answers. I need something to work in my life so that I may be a living witness to my life purpose, not just another walking dead. I am hoping you can help me get there.

To set a goal, any goal, and to work it to completion would be a huge accomplishment! I tended to avoid competitive sports because there is always a clearly defined goal. Whether it was a line painted on the ground or if it was the difference between being flat on the ground or standing with arms raised in victory. The fear of victory is the same as the fear of losing! The goal defines you, for that moment, for ALL TO SEE. It was this fear that caused me to dread the ring. It was never my lack of physical abilities that stopped me. In fact I am always very capable in all I set my mind to, except finish! It was the fact that the ring was well lit and raised up for all to see that caused me to walk away from boxing after only a short time. This same thing is crippling all I do, whether its with business or family! Its time for a change! Can anyone identify with this? If so, its time for a change in your own life as well. Don't you think?

Great lesson! There is much to be learned here. With a little more meditation, I'm sure there is much more to understand than what I just received on first listen. As far as what I received now? What caused me to really stop and look at my own life, was the principle of the monk giving to the other two monks because they gave the best they were able to give. I really need to see how I can apply this in what I do!

I have been preparing for months, years even. The goal of online entrepreneur to be able to retire, travel, give my children a better life than what I was given. All the usual "goals", it seems.
But, you are helping me to awaken to a bigger goal, and in the process, I will achieve my family centred goals.
And I feel that I am awakening from a bowl of jello, or thick fog that I have been walking in, much like the character in the Peanuts cartoon, actually - I think his name is Pigpen!

Since I really began to dig into this (by the way, the request for awakening was 6 months ago), I have had co-workers comment on my eyes - they seem to be sharper, brighter, more sparkling - these comments for the past week were more than the last 6 months combined! I can only attribute it to the awakening that has begun.

The monk story is so true. With the proper tools, attitude, and spirit of giving no destination is too far, no task too difficult, and no goal too lofty. Stopping to enjoy the journey and sharing the wealth with others makes it all more meaningful. A story well worth remembering. Thanks Bob.

In my youth, I used to work for a "Company" which always stressed what they called their 5P Code: Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance I have always lived by that simple code and it has always helped me.
So nobody is mistaken, I was not an employee of "The Company," just on assignment from the Air Force because of certain skills that I had.

I am here because I know I need this material. I need to make a change and follow through with something to make my life better, for me and my family. I am excited and a little scared. Excited once again for renewed hope and expectation about what may soon be my new "reality", and scared a little because I've been down this road before, but never found a way to break through into the freedom I've desired. Thank you for this new chance...a new chance to realize my success and conquer my fear of failure.
